September's book is Mostly Dead Things by Kristen Arnett Kristen Arnett is a queer fiction and essay writer. She won the 2017 Coil Book Award for her debut short fiction collection, Felt in the Jaw, which is much beloved by book club members Stacy and Bea. Mostly Dead Things her debut novel is set in swampy central Florida so it's very queer even before you toss in the lesbian who's in love with her brother's wife. Described as darkly funny, heart-wrenching, and eccentric look at loss and love. Location: TBD
