The Storyville Collective, recipient of the 2018 Big Easy for Best Play (Hand to God) is pleased to present the regional premiere of SILENCE, THE MUSICAL. SILENCE is the unauthorized parody of the Academy Award-winning THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. This hysterical show, featuring score & lyrics by Jon & Al Kaplan and book by Hunter Bell (Title of Show), premiered in the Lucille Lortel Theatre, New York, on August 12, 2005 as part of the New York International Fringe Festival. SILENCE played off-Broadway for over 500 performances from 2011-2013. The production has yielded awards and accolades such as Outstanding Musical (New York Internation Fringe Festival), Best New Musical (Off Broadway Alliance), and Top Ten Plays and Musicals (Time Magazine). Silence, The Musical plays from September 6-16 at The Twilight Room at The Allways Lounge and then September 19-28 at the New Orleans Art Center.
