Splash into wild summer fun at the first Sip+Dip at Audubon Cool Zoo. This after-hours event is exclusively for adults ages 21 and over. You'll have access to most of Audubon Cool Zoo's features including the splash pad and Gator Run (the 750-foot lazy river). Play adult games, get down to a live DJ; and cruise down the lazy river at this water park takeover. Your ticket purchase includes three complimentary drinks along with two "light bite" options. Additional drinks and a limited menu will be available for purchase. Please drink responsibly. Member discount does not apply for this event. • Tickets available online only. FAQs FAQs Q: Can I bring my kids? No - this is an adults-only event, and you must be 21 years old or older to attend. IDs will be checked at the front gate. Q: Can I purchase tickets at the door? No. Tickets can only be purchased online here . Q: What's included with my ticket price? Guests will have access to the Cool Zoo Splash Park and Gator Run lazy river, including innertubes. Three complimentary drinks and two "light bite" options will be included in the ticket price. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. Q: What are the "light bite" options? Guests will be able to choose two of the following "light bite" options: Mac & Cheese Bites, Avocado Fries, or Chicken Strips. Q: What kind of entertainment will there be? There will be a live DJ, access to the splash park and lazy river, and age-appropriate games. Q: Where can I park? Guests are welcome to park in the Zoo's public parking lot free of charge. Q: Where should I go when I arrive at the Zoo? Guests should proceed to the Zoo's front gate, where they will check in. They will then be directed to the Cool Zoo. Q: What time should I arrive? You may arrive any time between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., but please keep in mind that guests will be asked to exit the Zoo when the event ends at 10 p.m. Q: What time does the event end? The event will end at 10 p.m. Q: What should I wear? Your swimsuit, cover-up, beach-appropriate shoes, and any festive beach casual wear! Remember to bring your beach towel as well. Q. Can I bring a beach ball or floatie? Cool Zoo will have innertubes at Gator Run, so please leave your giant flamingos and beach balls at home. Q: Will there be lockers available for use? Yes, lockers will be available. The kiosk is self-serve and accepts both cash and card (if using cash, be mindful that you will only receive up to $3 change). There are two sizes: standard ($6) and large ($8). There are two sets; one directly behind the gift shop and another across from Gator Run lazy river. Q: Can I smoke or vape at Cool Zoo? Audubon Nature Institute facilities are smoke-free. For the safety and health of all patrons, our staff, and the animals in our stewardship, smoking is only permitted outside of the facilities. We will not have a smoking area inside the Zoo or Cool Zoo for this event. Q: Will I get to see animals? The event is restricted to the Cool Zoo and Gator Run area, but some animals may be visible in their habitats nearby, such as the flamingos at the front gate. Q: What happens if there's bad weather the night of the event? A cancellation announcement will be made via social media and Audubon's website no later than 5 p.m. the day of the event. If severe weather occurs during the event, lifeguards may ask guests to exit the water. If the event ends early due to severe weather, please consider your ticket purchase a contribution to Audubon Nature Institute's mission - there will be no refunds.
