Small Talk: Attributed To: Photographs by E. J. Bellocq

New Orleans Museum of Art
Getting there
1 Collins Diboll Circle, New Orleans, LA

Small Talks are ten-to-fifteen-minute gallery talks focused on one object or a small group of objects. These brief informal sessions enrich the visitor experience and allow visitors to learn more about works of art in NOMA’s permanent holdings as well as those on view in temporary exhibitions. Join Curatorial Fellow Brian Piper as he discusses photographs on view in Attributed To: Photographs by E. J. Bellocq, a focus exhibition that examines the famous portraits of Storyville prostitutes attributed to the early 20th-century New Orleans photographer. Admission is free to all Louisiana residents on Wednesdays, courtesy of The Helis Foundation.
