As part of "NOEW in Your Neighborhood", this 2.5-hour event is the ultimate networking and community event to attend before the Ada Lovelace Women in Tech Awards. It is an interactive, playful, and meaningful evening for entrepreneurs (and entrepreneur-curious) to connect with peers, share wisdom and leave with a deeper sense of connection to both the city and the people in it. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with experts and potential mentors. Upon RSVP, you will complete a form to tell us a little about yourself and what you're looking for. This will ensure you get the most out of your speed pitch and networking experience. A brief look at the evening: Doors open at 4 pm; event begins at 4:30 pm. What does the "speed pitch" look like? Since you will be pre-sorted into groups based on the information you provide in the questionnaire, the first half hour is for check-in and finding your group. With your group members, you will talk about your business using the pitch prompts provided for each round. At 5:30pm, we will begin our "creative networking and knowledge share". What does this look like? Using the map provided upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to tour Launch Pad, answer common questions entrepreneurs have, all while learning from entrepreneurial experts located throughout the space! There will be food stations set up around Launch Pad! Grab a drink, meet new people, learn from experts, and check out the coworking space! ~6:30 pm we will wrap up. Grab a to-go cup and parade to The Civic for the Ada Lovelace Women in Tech Awards! This event has been brought to you by Lyft and Launch Pad. We're excited to promote the entrepreneur community here in New Orleans and are looking forward to meeting you. Please send questions to cassandra@lp.co.
