Inspired by the roots of bass music, her live sets are deep, evocative, seductive and moving. Each pulse holds the intention of the drum to align with the heart of the dance floor. A Hundred Drums is also a founding member of b-side Los Angeles, a production crew that has been bringing the deep dub sound to LA and Oakland since 2015, working with some of her biggest influences such as Mala, Joe Nice, Joker, and Kaiju. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ DALEK ONE (https://www.facebook.com/DalekOne/) Encrypted Audio Deep, Dark & Dangerous Sub.mission Dalek One is the musical persona of Tanner Pennington. Standing at an imposing 6’8”, the Colorado native is as talented as he is tall. A charismatic DJ and cutting-edge producer, Dalek One rises from Denver’s rich dubstep scene into the international spotlight by way of his imaginative original productions and unique knack for playing them out. His tunes are right at home on progressive labels like Encrypted Audio and Deep, Dark, and Dangerous. The young artist has already garnered support from some of dubstep’s most prolific names, including Truth, J:Kenzo, Biome, Walsh, AxH, Congi, Samba, Jaswan, Enigma Dubz, and Levitation Jones. A natural experimentalist, Dalek One isn’t afraid to break genre boundaries: his talents extend beyond the boundaries of 140 to styles such as hip-hop and halftime drum and bass. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Black Swan (https://www.facebook.com/DJBlackSwan/) Louisiana Dubstep Black Swan is synonymous with dubstep in Louisiana. As founder of Louisiana Dubstep in 2008, she carried a torch that led hesitant promoters, club owners and fans to a landscape that previously did not exist. Under her wings of change, the state saw many firsts: she recorded the first widely recognized dubstep mix; booked the first dubstep headliners; organized Swamp Wamp, the first regularly scheduled dubstep party; and promoted the genre on two internationally recognized radio shows. Her efforts were rewarded with exclusives, affiliations and bookings that extended beyond the Gulf Coast, many shared with seminal headliners. The dark, aggressive style she effortlessly weaves builds on her roots as a drum-and-bass DJ and has been a signature throughout her lengthy involvement in sound system culture. Just like the Black Swan that is her namesake, she occasionally emerges and dazzles those lucky enough to witness her display. Contact her at roxanne.hare@gmail.com. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sir Shlothy (https://www.facebook.com/sirshlothy/) Heady.Made.Weird Neal Dyer, the man, the myth, the legend. Sir Shlothy knows how to keep the bodies movin' & bass faces on deck in a crowd. His knowledge of production stems from his love to continue our underground bass scene & we are elated to have him perform.
