We all know laughter is good for you. But, what feels better than laughing? When your laughter gives back! Just This Once, Morphed, and Comedy Uprising present The Benefits of Laughter, a stand up, sketch, and improv comedy fundraiser to help homeless, runaway, and trafficked young people. This is an all-ages show and features teen comedians of Comedy Uprising along with their "grown-up" counterparts from Morphed, Killjoy Associates, Live Girls, and Manifesto. Laugh and give back with us on Friday, November 16 at the adorable NOLA Spaces. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Morphed (stand up and sketch) starts at 7:30 pm, and Just This Once (improv) starts at 9:00 pm. Tickets are $10, and 100% of money collected the night of the event will be donated to Covenant House New Orleans. About Just This Once Just This Once provides one-of-a-kind laughs from on-the-spot-comedy. Their independent, monthly curated shows host three different improv troupes with a combined talent pool of 6 to 20 performers. About Morphed Operating in both Chicago and New Orleans, Morphed is a monthly show that highlights a different comedian as their stand-up jokes get “morphed” into sketch comedy. About Comedy Uprising Comedy Uprising is a comedy training program for kids aged 11 to 18 in New Orleans. It not only helps young students discover and develop their own humor but also hone their listening skills, understand the importance of teamwork, and create in a safe, positive environment when they need it the most.
