Gian Carlo Menotti’s operas are based on the gritty realism of our fallibilities and struggles. The composer was a true pioneer who brought opera into America’s living rooms with a celebrated 1951 television broadcast of Amahl and the Night Visitors. The Medium follows the inevitable demise of Madame Flora, a charlatan who, assisted by her daughter, holds séances for bereaved customers to communicate with their departed loved ones. She then undergoes a crisis of conscience, entangled in her own web of deceit. Victoria Livengood will bring to life the tortured complexities of the title role, and our own Sarah Jane McMahon is her daughter, Monica. >More Information Here CAST Madame Flora (Baba) – Victoria Livengood Monica – Sarah Jane McMahon PERFORMANCES ARE JUNE 1ST @8:00 PM AND JUNE 2ND @2:30PM TICKETS START AT $40 DOLLARS
