In support of Bullying Prevention Month, it’s time to promote kindness, sharing and inclusion. Fabled Films Press partners with Tubby and Coo’s for an extra special storytime featuring the acclaimed Grow & Read book series, The Nocturnals. The series engages parents, educators, and children around social-emotional skills such as acceptance, friendship, and empathy in an age-appropriate manner! The Nocturnals by Tracey Hecht features three unlikely friends: Dawn, a serious fox; Tobin, a sweet pangolin; and Bismark, a pint-sized sugar glider. The stories all play out in their nighttime world with teamwork, friendship, and humor in every adventure. The books are boy/girl and appropriate for kids aged 5–12. Nocturnalsworld.com features fun downloadable nighttime activities for families as well as educator guides for teachers and librarians, supporting the book series and social-emotional learning. The series includes middle grade and early reader books so that families with young children can share the reading experience together. The American Booksellers Association chose the first book in the middle-grade series, The Mysterious Abductions, as a Kids’ Indie Next List pick and The Chestnut Challenge, was the recipient of a Gold Mom’s Choice Award®.
