An open jam session established by bloved New Orleans native, Gene Harding. First established shortly after Katrina to act as a beacon calling musicians back to the music. When times were uncertain and the bands of New Orleans lost track of their members and of each other, Gene's Super Jam played an important part in giving musicians a place to be, to create, and to reconnect to one another and to their music. It is an honor to feature the many, many, MANY talented musicians of New Orleans and more closely, to showcase the musical culture and history of our magical Frenchmen Street with the ultimate New Orleans jam session.
