The Wondrous World of Wizardry with Oberon Zell

Hex New Orleans
Getting there
1219 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA

Discover the magic of Wizardry with Wizard Oberon Zell, Headmaster of the Grey School of Wizardry at Hex New Orleans on Saturday, January 12th at 2pm!
Once upon a time, education was imbued with a mystique of learning arcane lore and forbidden knowledge. The earliest schools were schools of Wizardry—such as Plato’s Academy in Athens, and the Pythagorean Mystery School. In the 21st century, the Grey School of Wizardry teaches all subjects, ancient and modern, in the larger context of “Wisdom Teachings,” expounding the ubiquity of magick in the mundane arts and sciences. Learn about the Grey School’s system of colors associated with each of the Wizard’s paths. Courses offered in the Grey School provide a grounded “Classical Education” in magickal history, psychic arts, mythology, mathemagics, lore, natural philosophy, cosmology, alchemy, metaphysics, and even Latin. The performing arts are included as well, with courses in illusion and the Bardic Arts. Whatever magickal subjects you want to learn—or perhaps to teach—the Grey School welcomes you! In this worskhop at Hex New Orlean, Oberon will talk about Wizardry, Quantum Magick, the Awakening, the coming 2020s, and 50 years of modern Paganism: “Who are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going?” Be sure to bring your questions to ask the Wizard for this is a chance to learn from a true master of the magical arts! Oberon's books, jewelry, and art will be available for purchase and he will be signing books as well! ABOUT OBERON ZELLOberon Zell is a renowned Wizard and Elder in the worldwide magickal community. In 1967 he was the first to apply the term “Pagan” to the newly emerging Nature Religions of the 1960s. In 1970, he had a profound Vision of the Living Earth which he published as the earliest version of “The Gaea Thesis.” In the 1980s, Oberon and his lifemate Morning Glory resurrected authentic living Unicorns, and led a diving expedition to New Guinea to solve the mystery of Mermaids. In 1990, MG coined the term “polyamory,” and launched another significant movement. Oberon creates altar figurines and jewelry of Gods and Goddesses, mythical creatures, and magick symbols. He is the author of Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard; Creating Circles & Ceremonies; The Wizard & The Witch; and other books. He is also Headmaster of the online Grey School of Wizardry, which he founded in 2004 (www.GreySchool.com). In November he attended the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto. He is currently living in Salem, MA, working with local Witches on an exciting new project: “Cosmic Encounters” in Nu Aeon’s Cosmic Connection Temple of Stars.
