Tickets can be acquired by visiting: BrownPaperTickets.com Deven Green is best known by cultural literates for her "Welcome To My Home" and "Welcome To My White House" parodies, portraying the satirical Mrs. Betty Bowers, as a photographic fashionista, World of Wonder ceWEBbrity, RuPaul's Drag Race judge, and Goliath Magazine's advice columnist. Ms. Green has warbled her away through concert venues and brothels across the United States all while playing the hell out of her electric ukulele. This human jukebox will be accompanied by musical savant/genius Ned Douglas who is the Head of Music for Dave Stewart Entertainment and has worked with the likes of Stevie Nicks to Gwen Stefanie to name only two. Together, they are the thinnest duo in captivity. Jeffery Roberson a.k.a. Varla Jean Merman is well known to drag fans and law enforcement officials across the globe. Jeffery starred in the Off-Broadway musical Lucky Guy opposite Leslie Jordan prompting The New York Times to rave, If Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman had stood in front of the right pair of funhouse mirrors, they might have resembled Ms. Merman and Mr. Jordan in stature as well as comedic talent. Jeffery has appeared in the feature length farces Girls Will Be Girls and Varla Jean and the Mushroomheads. He played the title role of Giancarlo Menottis opera The Medium in New York and guest starred as Varla Jean on Ugly Betty hows that for range, Ms. Streep? Other credits include Bravos Project Runway, Mary Sunshine in the Broadway revival of Chicago , a recurring role on All My Children in the recurring role of lady of the evening Rosemary Chicken and was also seen in One Night Standup: Dragtastic special. Varla Jean will perform highlights and lowlights culled from her 20-year catalog of songs. Although I rarely condescend to share the stage with other entertainers, I am excited to spend an evening with Deven Green and Ned Douglas. Shes amazing! Ms. Green declined to comment other than to say, How astute. Not only will there be duets but certainly a threesome of delights; musical and otherwise. This raucous show is guaranteed to make you soil yourself with laughter!
