When: Thursday, February 18, 2021 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Where: Live Oak Library at Meeting Room Volunteers from VITA prepare taxes. Patrons must call to establish an appointment. The number is 504-314-6719. When an appointment has been established, patrons will go to the library to leave their personal identifiable information (social security numbers, Form W-2, and other documents) at the site. VITA reps will prepare the taxes and call the patron if there are questions. When taxes are completed, patrons will return to the library to sign the completed tax return. Patrons should leave materials with VITA reps and NOT with library staff. VITA reps will be at the Live Oak Library on Wednesdays through April 7, unless the deadline is extended. All patrons must wear masks and adhere to social distancing procedures.
