Dido, the Queen of Carthage, and Aeneas, the Prince of Troy, experience the hopes and tragedies of star-crossed love, as they are sabotaged by an evil sorceress. NOCCA's entire Vocal Music department performs in this most significant early Baroque opera, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Directed by Phyllis Treigle, Conducted by Dr. Matthew Wood. Run time: 1 hour, no intermission. Tickets are general admission and are non-refundable.
