Join us for an intimate evening of chamber music live-streamed from the University of New Orleans Recital Hall. Celebrate the season with vocally inspired piano-wind trios from the Baroque era to contemporary. Hosted by Sasha Massey and featuring oboist Jaren Atherholt, bassoonist Benjamin Atherholt, pianist Patti Wolf, video engineer David Pittman, and audio engineer Thomas Walsh. The program will honor our Baroque roots while exploring something new with Telemann’s Oboe Sonata in A Minor, Valerie Coleman’s virtuosic, jazz-inspired Trio Toccata, “Der Leiermann” from Schubert’s Winterreise transcribed for bassoon and piano, and Poulenc’s celebrated Piano Trio. Free and open to the public, $20 suggested donation. Concert Access: https://youtu.be/2qQgrqgbMNI
