• What we'll do Experience Bechdel Project's "life changing" workshop designed to illuminate the need for new narratives and empower participants to fulfill that need. Even one hour can forever change how you see our world, and your role in it. Avail for high school aged students and above, this collaborative workshop will teach writing skills. We will accomplish this through writing/performing exercises culminating in a theatrical piece that adheres to the Bechdel test. • What to bring water bottle, pen, paper, yoga mat, towel • Taught by Jens Rasmussen who has created new work and programming in the non-profit sector for over 25 years. Also an award winning actor, his work has been called, "breath taking (and incredibly carnal), intense, emotional, raw, and human." Off-Broadway and NYC: 59E59, La MaMa, HERE, PanAsian Rep, New Dramatists, The Working Theater, Women's Project, New Georges, terraNOVA, Primary Stages, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and others. Contact [masked] for questions and registration information. You must contact Jens and pay in advance to attend this workshop.
