Gallery: STELLA! Stella and Stanley Shouting Contest closes out Tennessee Williams Fest

Feelin the pain.

Contestants participated in the Stella and Stanley Shouting Contest in Jackson Square in the French Quarter recreating the scene from the play ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ set in New Orleans, which was made famous in the film adaptation starting Marlon Brando, to bring an end to the Tennessee Williams Festival / New Orleans Literary Festival celebrating the work of the author in New Orleans on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

We sent photographer Matthew Hinton to capture the pain.
