Spicy Crawfish Boiling in a Stock Pot in Louisiana

What: Crawfish Mambo
When: May 11, 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Where: University of New Orleans
Price: $25, children under 7 free

This fest started in 2012 and features all-you-can-eat crawfish and live music. There’s even a tent for the kiddies. Mambo serves as the UNO Alumni Association’s primary fundraiser. Click here for more information.

Where: Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity
Price: $5 Thursday, $8 Fri-Sun, cash only for admission

Greek Fest is back for its 46th year, opening a day early. Thursday night features a limited evening menu, but it’s still top-notch, with traditional Greek dinners, lamb plates, greek salads and pastries. The Greek Grocery will also be open. Click here for more information.
