Got booze? Here’s a list of the distilleries and breweries open in New Orleans

Sales of alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption (aka booze you can take home) grew by 55 percent in the last week of March, according to the market research firm, Neilsen.

Whether you’re stocking up for one of the 40 Zoom happy hours you have this week, or you’re just stressed out after a day of working your job while also homeschooling your stir-crazy children, a cold beer or cocktail at the end of the day is just what the hypothetical doctor ordered.

Here’s the lowdown on 13 very local breweries and seven distilleries across the city you can safely depend on for a cold beer or stiff drink.
