So you want to avoid the rush of the mall on Black Friday, but you still want to get in on the fun of shopping therapy.

Not to worry, we’ve gathered up a list of local shops having Black Friday specials so you can start grabbing those gifts for your loved ones.

Peaches Records

One of the biggest days of the year for record stores is Black Friday, and Peaches is no exception. They’ll be opening an hour early at 9 a.m., and will have hundreds of limited edition, one-day only pressings. There will be free beer, prizes and contests, and music with a DJ performing right in the store.

Fleurty Girl

While this local shop’s big day in-store is Small Business Saturday, on Black Friday there will be a discount on their website for $10 off an order of $50 or more, and $20 off an order of $100 or more.

Woodhouse Spa

Thinking about giving the gift of pampering to your loved one? Woodhouse spa is offering a services series sale. You can get seven services for the price of five!

This high class hat shop will be having a 50% off sale on select styles, as well as doorbusters at both locations.

NOLA Mix Records

This record store started in 2011 as a youth-based DJ and music production program, teaching more than 500 students in the area. In 2015 it expanded into a full-fledged store, selling vinyl, DJ gear, production equipment, art and clothing. For Black Friday, there will be a 25% off sale on all used records.

Euclid Records

Opened in 2010, this shop specializes in used and new vinyl, with a good selection of used CD’s also. For Black Friday, they’ll be featuring more than 200 new vinyl releases, like Weezer’s cover of Toto’s ‘Africa,’ where the cover will be shaped like, well, Africa.

Urban South Brewery

So now you’ve gone shopping and you need a drink. Urban South is released its La Brut IPA, described as “a heavily hopped, dry and balanced IPA. Utilizing a malt enzyme during the mash process allows this beer to dry out for a unique IPA experience. Brewed with Strata, Citra and Idaho 7 bring about a citrus, tropical fruit and stone fruit character.”

Online Auctions with the Tennessee Williams Fest

Want to avoid the crowds altogether? You can bid on jewelry, books, decor, and artwork, plus gift guides for dining, hotel stays, and other local experiences right from home in your pajamas. Click here to see the auctions.

Southern Rhoades Apothecary

After the closing of F&F Botanica, lots of New Orleans have been left searching for spiritual supplies at other stores. Southern Rhoades offers a selection of handmade and homegrown options, like Palo Santo sticks, botanical hydrosol, and handmade cosmetics. They’ll be hosting a popup shop at Glitter Box on Black Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and online orders made through November are 20% off.

Dark Christmas Market at Bratz Y’all

If you’re looking for Christmas with a twist, this might be your place. Krampus is an old Alpine legend; a dark goat-like monster whose job is to punish the naughty boys and girls, and leave St. Nick with the nice ones. The Krewe of Krampus (which parades on Dec. 1) is hosting the market, featuring one of a kid pieces, like small wooden handmade coffins. The market is from 11:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
