Smoke & Fans: Prince of Wales celebrates 90 years with style
The streets of Uptown New Orleans on Sunday were filled with blue and yellow: the club colors of The Prince of Wales Social Aid and Pleasure Club, which held its 90th annual second line
The sunny weather was a perfect backdrop for the parade, complete with floats and kids who were in the procession.
Festivities kicked off at the Lyons Center on Tchoupitoulas Street, where royalty, past and present, came out. But the entrances really dazzled when the club members came out, with smoke emitting from their fans as they walked individually from the center into the parade line.
