One year in, and all the things are happening 🎂

We beat Barry in the city for the most part and now it’s time to beat the brutal burning heat of the summer. The scorching heat makes is hard to find ways to stay cool. Perhaps the coolest thing we can think of is that WE ARE 1 YEAR OLD TODAY! OK, maybe that’s really hot. Take it either way. And all the things are happening. So much can change in one year. We’ve seen our audience grow just from the awesome people like you sharing our content and spreading the word of how rad you think we are. There’s a lot more in store for our next full year of servicing your desires to hop around town and love our city. Now let’s get to what you REALLY need right now — beating this blazing summer.

Beat the heat with art and AC

There’s plenty in this city that needs to be temperature-controlled to survive. Think art! Think artifacts! Think penguins! Our museums and other cultural institutions are already protecting New Orleans’ treasures from the elements. Maybe they can protect us, too? Get cool and cultured here.

“Pool” your resources

There are hotel pools and city-run pools. University pools and bars with pools. Pools for swimming laps and pools for taking naps. Some have luxurious amenities that will cost you a pretty penny, but there are also plenty that don’t have to break the bank. Let’s take a look at a few pools you can enjoy without straining your summer budget too hard!
