Once in a Blue Moon, Halloween 2020 began with trick-or-treating for the kids with a specially designed social-distance tube to deliver candy by Mark Romig, the voice of the Saints, in the Fontainebleau neighborhood of New Orleans, followed by the rise of Blue Full Moon over the Crescent City. As daily COVID-19 cases reached a new record of 100,233 Friday, adults gathered in the French Quarter Saturday, October 31, 2020 to strut in the ghoulish costumes, while New Orleans Police and EMS occasionally moved down Bourbon Street to disperse the crowd. There were many sightings of the Tiger King zookeeper Joe Exotic and his tigers, dinosaurs, the fly of 2020, the big elf from “Elf,” the late RBG, Power Rangers, werewolves, Marshmello, aliens, a Plague doctor and many other wacky costumes.
