Spending a lot of time inside? Spruce it up with NOLA-based decor

Home decor from New Orleans-based artists to spruce up your mood inside and remind you of our beautiful city.

Well guys, we’re going to be inside a while. We never thought we’d say this, but we might actually miss Bourbon Street. But no worries, we’ve got some home decor from New Orleans-based artists to spruce up your mood inside and remind you of our beautiful city.

Salvage Wood Bourbon Street Signs

Via ScreenDoorArt (Etsy)

It’s the nostalgia, without the smells or the tourists. These signs are made from salvaged wood pieces and are perfect for patios, porches or decks.

Cup Coasters

via PappionArt (Etsy)

Coasters can be fun just like your drinks! Local artist Christina Pappion’s work is sublimated on these 4×4 coasters, because we all need to have a little drink after working from home. Her shop features other New Orleans-inspired art and coasters, from paintings of beignets to watercolors of St. Louis Cathedral.

Colorful Paintings

Vibrant and beautiful paintings or wall sculptures always adds life to the room. The metal wall art from IntrinsicElementz is hand cut using a plasma cutter and stained with patina and clear coated to prevent rust for a gorgeous finish. Wall art from StephenDarreArt is 3D, with clay and resin painted to show the details of St. Louis Cathedral. Paintings from DianneParksArt show scenes of New Orleans life.

Street Tile Key Hooks

via ScreenDoorArt (Etsy)

So we won’t be leaving home for a while, but WHEN WE DO you’ll want to make sure you’re not so excited that you don’t know where your keys are. This keyhanger gives a little local flair by turning your name into a street sign.

Rustic Nail Art

via NOLAStringArtStudio (Etsy)

Home is where the heart is in this unique string art piece that comes ready to hang on your wall.

Smells so good

via WIcksNOLA (Etsy)

Great smells instantly lift your mood!  Wicks NOLA has scents named after everything you love about the city (like Hail Zulu and Bourbon Creme Brulee) and the gorgeous packaging adds decor to any room.
