So you’ve been reading and enjoying Very Local New Orleans. Yes, we’re the new, cool kids on the media block here in the city. We’re a small team, we have fun and we’re always in the know about what’s happening in the city.
Well, guess what? We’re hiring! We’re looking for a sales strategist with a lot of spunk to spread the word about Very Local to the rest of the city and help us beef up our operation even more.
The deets
Very Local New Orleans is a new digital news outlet focused on lifestyle and culture for young New Orleanians— providing digital-first news and information with an emphasis on food, drink, events, and local culture. Very Local provides the best recommendations on cultural destinations and activities, targeting young, urban audiences. This role would be responsible for building a digital advertising business from scratch, focusing on native advertising and sponsorships.

Since we’re a digital team, some of the perks of the job are that if you need to work out of the office, most times you can. Our home base is gorgeous and housed at The Shop at the CAC, so when you’re in the office, you’re surrounded by an inspiring, open area that pushes your creative juices.
