Here are our weekend picks for Dec. 13-15, 2019:

Friday, Dec. 13

What: Furry Holiday Photos
When: 4 to 6 p.m.
Where: Zeus’ Place Downtown
Price: Free

It’s the last chance to get the purr-fect holiday pictures with your pets! We’ve got props or you can bring your own costumes to the shoot. Digital copies of the pictures are free, and you can print out your own copy (for the fridge!) for $10.

What: Jingle on the Boulevard Parade
When: Noon
Where: Begins at St. Maria Goretti Church
Price: Free

It’s the second year for New Orleans East’s very own Christmas parade. The parade features floats and throws. of course, and many of the school marching bands and units throughout the city. Click here to see the parade route.

What: Lights on the Lake
When: 2 to 8 p.m.
Where: New Canal Lighthouse
Price: $5 entry fee, children 12 and under are free — food and drink prices vary

You can check out music, visit a holiday marketplace featuring local vendors and buy food and hot toddies from area food trucks.
