The two-part celebration is melanated nerds everywhere is having its first convention! During the day, an all-ages convention will take place, with Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler as one of the guest speakers. Where: Parade starts on Bayou St John at Orleans Ave.

Downtown Super Sunday is one of the few days you can see Black Masking Indians outside of Mardi Gras Day. The parade starts on Bayou St John at Orleans Ave. and Jefferson Davis Pkwy, travels down Orleans Ave., goes left on Broad St., then right on St. Bernard Ave. Click here for more information.
